Please read the through the following guidelines before submitting your photo

Photos submitted for repair;

     You may submit your picture by clicking on the tab "Submit Photo" then follow the instructions, or by mail. To obtain the physical mailing address contact Photo FX Plus via email by clicking on the link below. Photos received by mail will be scanned and promptly returned in the same condition as received. You are responsible for all charges occurred when mailing items to Photo FX Plus. Digital uploaded photos must be at least 1 inch by 1 inch in size. A resolution of at least 300 pixels/inch is requested however some lower resolution photos can still be worked upon with satisfactory results. Please go to the "Scanning Photos" page to read specific requests concerning uploaded files. Please be advised that severely damaged pictures may not be suitable for repair. If the complete photo is not provided, you may receive a request for a different photo of the same subject. If this cannot be provided then we will have to complete the picture with elements in the picture provided or "paint" in the missing portion. The repair costs shown on the "Restored Photos" page and the photo repair example pages represent the prices charged for the work done on that specific photo and are shown to give you a general idea of pricing. The cost to repair or enhance your photo may vary depending on the amount of work involved with your photograph. After viewing your picture we will send you an estimated completion time and guaranteed total price quote. The estimated completion time provided is an estimate and subject to change. You will be promptly notified of any delays and if such a delay occurs, upon your request, we will send you a link which will take you to an online copy of the photo in progress. While the photo is in progress we may send you a link to an online copy of the photo in progress along with specific questions concerning your requests. Any online copies will be posted at a resolution of 72 ppi and will have an embedded watermark. The total price quote provided to you before beginning any work on your photo will not change unless you request further changes not specified in the original agreement. Upon completion you will receive a link to an online copy of the completed photo. After your approval we can either print your photo on photo paper, glossy or mat, or place your photo on a disc and return it to you by mail (see "Photos returned by mail" section below), or provide you with a link where you can download the photo file in a resolution suitable for printing (300 ppi), and size of your request up to 8 1/2 x 10 inches. If you need a higher resolution or larger picture size please contact Photo FX Plus. Completed and approved photos will not be mailed or posted for download until payment is received in full. Credit card payments are processed through Paypal. You will be transferred to their website to complete payment transactions. Please make all checks and money orders payable to Photo FX Plus. After receipt, if you are not satisfied with your photo you have 30 days in which to request further adjustments or money returned. Completed photos requested as downloads will be available for 3 days upon notification of availability and can be downloaded any number of times during that period. After 3 days, if the file has been downloaded, it will be deleted from the system. If the file has not been downloaded we will notify you via email and at your request, we can keep the file available to you as a download for a reasonable amount of time depending on the circumstances. In any case, you will be notified by email at least 24hrs before we delete your finished photo. When we post your "Photos in Progress" page you will have three days to view the photos. If after three days we have not heard from you the page will be deleted form the system. You may request that the page be left up or reactivated by contacting us at any time. You will be notified by email at least 24hrs before we delete your "Photos in Progress" page.

Photos submitted for Frames, Borders, or Backdrop addition;

    Please follow the instructions above for submitting your photo. Remember to include the ID number for the your Frame, Border, or Backdrop. You will find this number on the "Frames and Borders" page. Select the category for your Frame, Border, or Backdrop, then follow down the column labeled "ID No." to the Frame, Border, or Backdrop you would like to see on your picture. Include this number in the instructions box on the "Submit Photo" page. If the Frame, Border, or Backdrop you have chosen has the word "Yes" under the column "Custom" then you may also include a description of what part of your photo you would like to match the color to. Please be as specific as possible. Descriptions such as "the dark red area on my left shoulder" will help. After receiving your request we will apply the Frame, Border, or Backdrop to your photo then post the completed photo for your viewing (all photos posted for viewing will be at a resolution of 72 ppi and have an embedded watermark). You will receive an email notification with a link which will take you to the posting. After viewing you may request any color, frame, border, or backdrop changes you like at no additional cost. Upon your approval, you pay only for the finished photo. Your completed photo can then be posted for downloading or we can print the photo and send it to you via mail (see "Photos submitted for repair" section above and the "Photos returned by mail" section below).

Photos returned by mail;

    All photos or discs returned by mail will be enclosed in a protective package. This package will be sent via registered mail (recipient must sign for upon receipt). Your 30 day guarantee will begin upon signed receipt. Cost of shipping for printed photographs will be $2.50 if the photo is not larger than 8 1/2 x 10 inches (portrait) and express mail is not requested. At your request we can return your photo on a disc (CD-rom) at an additional cost of $1.50.

Upon clicking the Submit Your Photo link you will be taken to the upload page. Please fill in the blanks, give a description of the work you want done then click the upload button. You will receive an upload confirmation message to your email address. Be assured the information you provide will not be made available to any third party for reasons such as spam, or unsolicited advertisements (please read the section below concerning immoral, illicit, or illegal photographs).

Legal Issues;

Certain types of editing on photographs which have been taken by a professional photographer may be an infringement of copyright law and cannot be performed. Editing such as resizing and any change to the original photograph would fall under this category. However, in most cases, repair or restoration to original condition can be performed without any problems. In any case, if the submitted photograph appears to have been taken by a professional photographer, we may request contact information in order to obtain the photographers consent.

Immoral, obscene, and pornographic photos are not to be uploaded to this website. Any such photographs uploaded to this website will be deleted from the system and the referring IP address will be banned from future uploads. Photographs which may be considered as criminal in nature will be submitted to law enforcement agencies along with any information they may request.

Submitting a Website: We will not place a link on the Friends page to any site which may be considered as pornographic, spamming, gambling, racial, or anything else which may be considered as immoral or inappropriate. Please do not submit your website if our visiting customers will under go numerous pop-up adds and other annoying experiences. Your site must be relevant in content to that which we offer at Photo FX Plus. Greeting cards, calendars, holiday gifts, photo editing and restorations, stock photographs, or any site which may be in nature to Photo FX Plus will be considered. Keep in mind that Photo FX Plus is a family orientated web site.
