If you are having problems finding a specific photograph here are some tips which
may help.
The search code uses the words entered in the text box to search through
the file name of every photograph in the Free Pictures gallery. If a match is
found then that photograph will be returned.
While the file name is not displayed in the gallery, you can view it by
clicking in the download box for any picture then hit the download button. The
next page that opens will display each photograph you have chosen to download,
the file size, category, and file number of the photograph. Clicking on the
"Download" link beside any picture will open a download dialog box which will
display the complete file name. This can help if you are looking for specific
pictures such as the "golden gate bridge". The complete file name will provide
this information.
You can enter a maximum of three words in the search box. The search code
will find matches for each individual word. For example, if you should enter
the words "Maple tree" the search code will not only show all photographs which
match the word "Maple", but all the photographs which match the word "tree"
as well. To produce more specific photographs try entering just one word which
may match your desired results, such as "Maple".
Separate your words with a space to enter multiple words.
Avoid using the words "and" and "or", these two words while expanding or
narrowing your search in other search engines will not have any effect in this
one.
You may use upper or lower case, it does not matter.
