Change photo elements from one picture to another to create your own unique photograph!

Changing photo elements can be the most creative aspect of photo editing. Your own imagination is the only limit to the process. Individual elements in a photograph can be swapped, backgrounds added and changed. Even drawn objects, such as cartoons, signs, and "speech balloons" can be added. When changing elements between photographs most problems occur with different exposure and film sensitivity settings between the pictures. This usually requires some adjustments to each photograph to balance these settings out.

This young lady is obviously in cow heaven! The first step was to remove her from the photo. The wooden post in front of her leg was removed and after she was placed in the photo below, her arm was rotated downward. There was some modifying done to her shoulder and jacket after the rotation to blend them in. Then came the exposure and color setting adjustments which were applied individually to both photographs bringing the two photos together. A copy of the lions ear was placed on top of the lady's hand and there was some editing done to the grass at her feet. The second lion in the background was removed. The finished photograph underwent a curves and color enhancement adjustment and then cropped and bordered to size.
